Cable is bullshit. You pay so much a month for over 1,000 channels of shit you can’t watch because you have to pay an extra fee, or the channels are in a foreign laungage, a bunch is soft porn, music, and WTF is this? Out of the 150 channels that are some what ok to watch, most of them are about reality shows of idiotic well to do people, or average idiots who spend their money in stupid ways, and do stupid things to ‘entertain’ the apathetic masses. (Kardashians, American idol, bad girls club, X factor, E!, real world, jersey shore, etc…) Then you have these other shows, I’m sure you’ve seen them. You know, the one about repossessions, public storage auctions, pawn shops, true life, teen mom, intervention, hoarders, etc… list goes on. These are TOP rated shows. Shows about families losing their things they worked for, having to sell their belongings, living in a really fucked up situation, drug addictions on blast, depression, hoarding… all of which are pretty much a direct effect from the economy going down. For me, the pawn shows really are the saddest to watch. People selling things that’s worth a fair amount of money and pretty much having to sell it for way less than they paid. On top if that, getting TAXED for it again after already paying taxes on it when purchasing it. Is this the new America? Is this the Hope and Change we all wanted? Hope, that someone buys your stuff and the change, you basically get for it? Another decade where the arrogant are rewarded and rich, and the hard working middle class are depended on for welfare and government support? How long are you willing to work 2, 3 jobs to feed your family? How long are you OK with people living on unemployment for years not even looking for a job? How long are you OK with the government spending your tax money on things you have no say in. This next election is going to make or break America and guess who’s is going to pay for it if we the people make the wrong choice?… The government can only offer you what they take from you.
