  7. Most Americans HAVE NO CLUE that the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE, FOR PROFIT CORPORATION! DON’T BELIEVE ME, LOOK IT UP FOR YOURSELF AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! JFK, Ron Paul, Woodrow Wilson, Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan, and many others have spoken against the horrible Federal Reserve system we now have which is unnecessary because our government can print the money without paying interest to the private for profit Federal Reserve. While our government can print money for free, the people who own the private Federal Reserve have made trillions off of creating the US money. They loan money to the US government at interest, when our government could print it without them for free. JFK tried to get rid of the Federal Reserve by printing United States Notes because he realized that if private super rich bankers own the Federal Reserve and they loan money to the government, they essentially own the government. The Federal Reserve is the MAJOR reason why this country has declined financially! The Federal Reserve can be abolished and the government can do the same thing by printing money with United States Notes instead of the Federal Reserve Notes. This will save the country trillions! Watch documentaries like “Money Masters” or “Freedom to Fascism” for more detailed info on the BIGGEST FINANCIAL SCAM ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE in History! The Federal Reserve is THE MAJOR REASON why the poor is increasing in numbers and the rich continue to get richer! Stop wasting time with things that don’t matter like sports or tv. Expose the truth of the corruption going on, and do something about it!

  8. One Powerful Beautiful Woman:

    Omer Goldman Granot

She isn’t famous but is my hero. Her name is Omer Goldman, and she is an Israeli woman of abt 21 years old and more integrity and strength than most ppl I know.

She is the daughter of a Mossad Chief, and Israeli refusenik. She was raised as all other Israelis, to join the armed forces and like it. As she got closer to 18, however, she did what set her aside from everyone else her age and nationality… she questioned her future and authority.

She visited a settlement one day, and was shot at, blindly, she noticed by Israeli soldiers- ppl she had always thought were there to protect her. She realized something was in more danger from Israelis than Palestinians, contrary to what she was taught to believe. She ended up in a miltary prison, and that is not the awesome part, to me.

She is awesome because unlike the majority of the population of Israel, she bothered to question authority, and challenge her entire belief system. To me, standing up to her parents and family and refusing to occupy other ppls lands, potentially encouraging violence onto herself as well as rejection from peers willingly, for what she knows is right makes her awesome. Cognative dissonance is a painful process, and most ppl complain and give up. But she willingly went to jail, and probably still does periodically. She faces a judge, refuses to “enlist,” and goes to jail, pattern, until either she or the military court gives in. Israel doesn’t tend to relax, ever, and her home has become her adversary.

There happen to be many refusers now, the difference is they have done their mandatory service, and now speak out. She has renewed my faith in humanity, and proven that even out of darkness, hate and occupation, there can be light, humanity and hope. She reminds me of me, ppl call me unAmerican, ungrateful and a terrorist, but I can handle it from ppl I know are wrong, ignorant and brainwashed… but from my own family it can hurt the worst. She said her mother is accepting and her father resentful and distant, and he is very high in the israeli version of the CIA. My family was also built upon military beliefs, so I can understand how every day you choose whether to be right, or to be quiet for the sake of peace.

I think she is awesome because she realizes that being quiet for the sake of peace is the problem, often times. And that peace is bought with someone’s blood, suffering and a nation’s ignorance. Omer Goldman is past awesome… she is, I believe an enlightened individual, proof that israelis, are not inherently bad, amoral or apathetic. She is strong enough to stand up to her govt, her friends and her family and say, “I’m sorry Father, but I cannot fight for your Israel.” The hardest thing, even beyond jail, to do. I hope she knows how much faith she has restored to me, and my friends, in humanity, humankind, and in a peaceful future, without war. The world needs more ppl like her. I know she hurts, but she is true, and right and brave. Thank you, Omer

  14. What if elections don’t matter?

What if elections were actually useful tools for social control?

What if they just provided the populace with meaningless participation in a process that validates an establishment that never meaningfully changes?

What if that establishment doesn’t want and doesn’t have the consent of the governed?

What if the two party system was actually a mechanism used to limit so called ‘public opinion’?

What if there were more than two sides to every issue, but the two parties wanted to box you into a corner, one of their corners?

What if there is no such thing as public opinion, because everything thinking person has opinions which are uniquely his own?

What if what we call ‘public opinion’ was just a manufactured narrative that makes it easier to convince people that if their views are different, that there’s something wrong with that, or there’s something wrong with them?

What if the whole purpose of the democratic and republican parties was not to expand voters choices, but to limit them?

What if the widely perceived differences between the two parties was just an illusion?

What if the heart of the government policy remains the same no matter who’s in the White House?

What if the heart of the government policy remains the same no matter what the people want?

What if those vaunted differences between Democrat and Republican were actually just minor disagreements?

What if both parties just want power, and are willing to have young people fight meaningless wars to enhance that power?

What if both parties continue to fight the ‘War on Drugs’ just to give bureaucrats and cops bigger budgets and more jobs?

What if government policies didn’t change when government leaders did?

What if no matter who won an election, government stayed the same?

What if government was really a revolving door for political hacks, bent on exploiting the people once they’re in charge?

What if both parties supported welfare, war, debt, bailouts, and big government?

What if the rhetoric that candidates displayed on the campaign trail was dumped after electoral victory?

What if Barack Obama campaigned as an ‘anti-war, pro-civil liberties’ candidate, and then waged senseless wars while assaulting your rights, that the Constitution was supposed to protect?

What if George W. Bush campaigned on a platform of non-intervention and small government, and then waged a foreign policy of muscular military intervention and a domestic policy of vast government borrowing and growth?

What if Bill Clinton declared that ‘The Era of Big Government’ was ‘over’, but actually just convinced republicans like Newt Gingrich that they can get what they want out of big government too?

What if the republicans went along with it?

What if Ronald Reagan spent six years running for president, promising to shrink the government, but then the government grew when he was in the white house?

What if, notwithstanding Reagan’s ideas and cheerfulness and libertarian rhetoric, there really was no ‘Reagan Revolution’ at all?

What if all this is happening again?

What if Mitt Romney is being embraced by voters who want ‘anyone but Barack Obama, but they don’t realize that Mitt Romney might as well be Barack Obama on everything from warfare to welfare?

What if Ron Paul is being ignored by the media not because, as it claims, he’s ‘unappealing’ or ‘unelectable’, but because he doesn’t fit into the pre-manufactured ‘public opinion’ mold used by the establishment to pigeon-hole the electorate and create the so-called ‘narrative’ that drives media coverage of elections?

What if the biggest difference between most candidates was not substance, but style?

What if those stylistic differences were packaged as substantive ones to reinforce the illusion of a difference between democrats and republicans?

What if Mitt Romney wins and ends up continuing most of the same policies that Barack Obama promoted?

What if Barack Obama’s polices too, are merely extensions of those from George W. Bush?

What if a government that manipulated us could be fired?

What if a government that lacked the true and knowing consent of the governed could be dismissed?

What if it were possible to have a real game changer?

What if we need a Ron Paul to preserve and protect our freedoms from the government?

What if we can make elections matter again?

What if we can do something about this?

  15. In the past two decades, the money that states spend on prisons has risen at six times the rate of spending on higher education. In 2011, California spent $9.6 billion on prisons, versus $5.7 billion on higher education. Since 1980, California has built one college campus; it’s built 21 prisons. The state spends $8,667 per student per year. It spends about $50,000 per inmate per year.
